A different kind of space
In this issue you can read about a new initiative to open Holy Trinity Church on a more regular basis. John Whittaker would like to provide a place right in the centre of the village away from the hustle and bustle of modern living - what he calls 'a different kind of space' that can be enjoyed by all. Elsewhere, we celebrate the life of Harold Mitchell, find out about the musical talents of John Whitworth and welcome a new head teacher to Humphrey Perkins.
We have a new feature where Ginny Willcocks puts members of the BV team on the spot and, as the days shorten, we look back on some of our summer village events and on to those that will take us to the end of the year. We rely on our loyal band of distributors who ensure that you get your copy through the letter box four times a year.
I'd like to give a special mention to Margaret and Graham Clarke and Barbara Hillman who have decided to step down from the role after many years of service. Our grateful thanks to all three of you.
