Barrow in Vienna one year on

Charnwood Orchestra returns to Barrow on Saturday 15th January due to overwhelming demand!

So successful was their 'Magic of Vienna' concert last year that they have been persuaded to return to give us a second taste of the glorious (and often very funny) music of the Strauss family and other familiar composers of the waltz, the polka and the march.

You will again be transported to the lavish surroundings of 19th century Vienna with such gems as Champagne Polka (complete with waiter serving champagne), Wine, Women and Song waltzes, Tritsch-Tritsch Polka and, of course, the Radetzky March.

The concert starts at 7.00 in Humphrey Perkins Community Centre and there will be an interval bar.

Tickets, including a glass of bubbly or juice will cost £10.00 (£8.00 concessions) and £3.00 for accompanied children under 16.

They are available from the Paper Shop or by phoning 07718 153117.

Last year's concert was a sell out so don't assume you can buy tickets on the door.
