Winter 2022 - Issue 170
Barrow Voice Facebook

Editorial

As another year draws to a close, there’s one thing that we can be sure of: the people of Barrow upon Soar continue to support each other in countless ways. If you are looking for something new to do in 2023, why not get involved in one of the many community activities?
You will find, in the article about Fiona Laywood, BUSCA’s new chair, that there are many ways you can support the Barrow upon Soar Community Association; Barrow Voice is just one of them. There are articles about the businesses (shops, services and hospitality) that need the support of local people if they are to successfully remain in the village. You can support the Food Bank being run by Barrow Baptist Church; and different venues in the community are offering a safe environment to spend a few warm, welcoming hours with a hot drink and company.
We hope you enjoy our Christmas Cracker Quiz and have fun finding the little robins hiding throughout the magazine.
Most of all, we wish you a very happy Christmas and all the best wishes for 2023.
