You may not believe this, but the Holy Trinity Christmas Tree Festival planning started in June! We love hosting this event and want to make it the best we can for Barrow upon Soar and the local community. To tie in with the village Christmas lights switch on, the 21st tree festival will be open on the following dates this year:

Thursday 27th November at 7.30pm the festival kicks off with the Grand Opening which includes a buffet and glass of wine, plus bar. It is the perfect opportunity to see the trees lit up for the first time by our special guest and a very magical moment.  Tickets are pre-order only for this event to assist with catering.

Friday 28th November at 7.30pm is Christmas Music Night with the Caroline Sharpe Singers who were extremely entertaining last time they performed for us. A bar with wine, Charnwood beer and snacks will also be available and tickets can be pre-ordered or also purchased at the door. Public viewing is 9am to 5pm.

Saturday 29th November public viewing is 10am to 7pm.

Sunday 30th November Come and join us for Mulled Wine and sing-along carols from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. We introduced this last year, and it was great fun. Public viewing is from 12pm to 6pm.

Tickets for the Thursday and Friday events will be available from October at Taylors Florist. Throughout the festival, there will be musical entertainment; a bar; a café serving hot and cold food and drinks at very reasonable prices; a raffle; stalls; and, of course, the magical tour of the trees supported by so many local businesses and organisations.

Every year we are amazed at the inventiveness and artistry that goes into exhibiting the trees and if you are new to the village or have not been before, it is well worth a visit!
