I can’t thank you all enough for this. This BUSCA appeal total stood at 1,811 individual bulbs when Annette Richardson’s team came this morning. The team were the real Heroes and planted them all in King George’s recreation ground in around an hour! I was, and remain, flabbergasted!

I can’t think who to thank first. The Parish Council for allowing us to plant the bulbs, BUSCA’s substantial cash donation that was converted into bulbs by Keith and Claire Dennison, Sharon Gudger and the Barrow Community Library for acting as a collection point for donated bulbs or Annette’s team of six for the speedy planting.

And now we wait. In February we’ll see if the crocus bed is as spectacular as hoped. And if it is it will be all because of… YOU!
