COME ALONG AND JOIN THE ST. JOHN BADGERS AND CADETS
BADGERS
- for boys and girls between the ages of 5 -10.
They are the youngest members of St. John Ambulance and meet
regularly in their setts to follow the badger course in "Absolutely
Everything". Upon completion of the course they become a Super
Badger which is the highest award a Badger can achieve.
Have fun and learn new skills, play games, make and create
wonderful things, as well as taking part in parties and camps.
CADETS - for boys and girls between 10 and 18 years old.
Becoming a cadet means learning first aid skills and putting
them into practice, learning social care and communication
skills that help to shape young people into vital and active
members of their communities. Gaining skills such as how to
lead a group of people, and develop training skills so you
can teach others. Lots of opportunities, adventurous activities,
development weekends, attending local, national and international
camps, meeting new friends, and helping your local community.
All the experiences within St. John can be counted towards
The Grand Prior Award and The Duke of Edinburgh Award and
are recognised qualifications on a CV.
