We are thrilled to announce that we will soon be opening to the public our brand-new Hair, Grooming and Beauty Training Salon on the bustling High Street. The salon is an exciting addition for both our students and the community, offering a range of services from wash and blow-dry, hair styling, manicures and nail painting, to hot towel beard massage and so much more.

Our training salon is run by the students of Homefield, a specialist further education college for young people who have learning and/or communication disabilities. Students working at the enterprise are currently developing their skills and working towards qualifications in hair, grooming and beauty. This training salon will provide them with a practical learning environment where they can develop confidence, hone their techniques, and gain invaluable experience.

Under the expert guidance of our qualified tutor, Bridget, students will gain exposure and new knowledge about the intricacies of the hair, grooming and beauty industry. The salon will provide a warm, welcoming space for our students to learn and grow whilst providing services to the village.

This venture is an opportunity for the local community to support and nurture the talents of our students. By visiting our salon, you are not only treating yourself to a pampering session but also contributing to the education and development of our future hair, grooming and beauty experts.

The name of our salon is yet to be announced – but rest assured, it will be following a competition that will further involve our students and the community! We can't wait to reveal the name that encapsulates the spirit and ambition of this new project.

We will be opening our doors to our first clients from Monday 27th November. As we embark on this exciting new journey, we hope to see you rally behind our students. Your support will go a long way to boosting their confidence, enriching their learning and helping them achieve their goals.
