QUORN FOLK DANCE CLUB
Quorn Folk Dance Club welcomes any newcomers. We meet every Wednesday
evening, usually at Rawlins Community College, but we do use Humphrey
Perkins High School & Community Centre for occasional club evenings
and for our major dances (3 or 4 times a year).
All dances are talked and walked through for the benefit of everyone.
Although most dances are partnered, you do not have to attend with a
partner - indeed many dances Œprogressà so you will meet other people
during the run of a dance.
We also organise country walks and arrange short holiday breaks both
in this country and abroad. It is an enjoyable and sociable way to get
some gentle exercise.
So why not come along and try it out.
Day: Wednesdays
Venue: Rawlins Community College (and Barrow for occasional club evenings
and major Saturday evening dances)
Time: 7.30 Á 9.30 p.m.

THE HEATHCOTE ŒOÃ GAUGE SOCIETY
The Heathcote ŒOÃ Gauge Society is an informal small group of friends,
all interested in Model Railways (and ŒOÃ Gauge in particular).
Our sole aim is the staging of two Model Railway events. The first
of which is a two day Model Railway Show which covers Railway Modelling
in all the major scales, with full trade support from both specialist
manufacturers and Model Railway Shops.
The second is a one day event for modellers interested primarily in
7mm (ŒOÃ Gauge) railways. We also exhibit our own layouts/models all
over the country and visit other shows. Because of this we are an adult
only group, although young people are more than welcome as visitors
to either of our two events.

IVANHOE MODEL RAILWAY
The Ivanhoe Model Railway Society was formed by members of the Roll-Royce
Model Railway Group, when Rolls-Royce at Mountsorrel closed in 1994.
We are a small band of modellers, in many scales who meet to build
Model Railway Layouts, have friendly discussions and eat chips. We also
run three Die cast Toy and Train Fairs in February, June and November
each year.
Modelling or collecting, they are an ideal way to buy, sell or swap
models and toys.
