APHELIA AESTHETICS OPENS IN HIGH STREET

A new era of beauty begins as the High Street welcomes Aphelia Aesthetics and Beauty Clinic.

 Lil of Aphelia Aesthetics

In an exciting new chapter Lindsay McTaggart, also known as Lil, a highly trained and experienced nurse, has decided to expand her already-thriving aesthetics business. After running an aesthetic clinic from home alongside working as a nurse, she decided it was time to invest in larger premises with room to grow. With her nursing background and a passion for helping people feel confident in their skin, Lil’s focus has always been to combine the precision of medical expertise with the art of beauty.

I went to meet Lil just before she opened in February as she was just adding the finishing touches to what is now a very pleasing and elegant interior. It was immediately clear that beauty and precision are important to Lil, and as we chatted further, I got to understand why. Lil explained that with over 18 years’ experience in healthcare and specialising in fields such as theatre, plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery, she has witnessed firsthand how self-care can transform not only someone's appearance but their entire outlook on life. "That is why I wanted to blend both knowledge and beauty, so I can help people look as good as they feel."

Lil has an extensive knowledge of facial anatomy and a keen eye for detail. She assured me that every procedure is carried out with the upmost precision, care and safety. "My background allows me to approach each treatment with a clinical mindset whilst also considering the aesthetic goals of my client.” She says "It's about creating beautiful results using natural techniques and enhancing a client’s natural beauty."

The clinic offers a wide range of treatments such as Botox, dermal filler, medical grade skincare, skin boosters, make-up and more. The clinic has been created by Lil with the comfort of the client in mind, providing a serene and relaxing atmosphere. "I want my clients to feel comfortable in my clinic where they can ask questions, receive tailored treatment plans and walk out feeling their best." This fits well with Lil’s slogan for the business: Confidence in every reflection.

"I'm excited to bring my vision of beauty and wellness to life in a way that's both professional and compassionate,” Lil adds. "At the end of the day, it’s not just about how you look, but how you feel and I want my clients to feel empowered and confident every time they leave my clinic."

Barrow Voice wishes her well in this new venture.
