I think most of us are aware of Paul Bott, our own Barrow-grown builder and housing developer. Paul and his wife Sally are very much part of the village with four children, one of whom is Jack.

Jack and his wife Jessica have recently started up their own building business, Jack Bott Construction. Until recently, Jack has worked with and for Paul, learning his skills on the job.

Jack is a true local lad – Hall Orchard, Humphries, Rawlins and a keen member of the scouting movement. Now he’s chosen to develop his own business in his home territory.

Jack’s first solo job, in March, was an extension in Sileby. Since then, he has found work pouring in including alterations, more extensions, garden landscaping and repairs, none of them in Barrow!

Builders are like gold dust so we must cherish this new business!
