Saturday September 14th The Village Scarecrow Festival  is back!

Are you able to make a scarecrow? Please contact info@busca.org.uk saying where you intend to site it so that you can be included on the directions for finding them. Saturday 5th October 7 for 7.30pm Murder Mystery: ‘Allotted Time’

Don’t miss out on another popular Murder Mystery from Helen Sadler and Barrow Arts and Theatre Society at Humphrey Perkins school Come and enjoy ‘Allotted Time’ written by Helen Sadler. Try to identify the murderer from all the clever clues or you may never dare venture into your allotment again! Saturday 30th November Rotary Fundraising concert

Loughborough Beacon Rotary is holding a fundraising concert on 30th November in aid of local charities such as LOROS and Rainbows as well as Home Starter Boxes of which they are about to provide their 500th to the local community for those in need. Friday 11th to Sunday 13th October Trinity Festival

The festival includes two concerts with a quarter peal of bells ringing out from Holy Trinity Church tower before each concert starts. It opens on Friday at 7pm with a young people’s concert. The Saturday evening’s classical concert has a theme of ‘Europe meets America’. Sunday afternoon 2pm – 4:30pm sees the return of the popular Arts & Craft Fair showcasing local talent using eco-friendly materials. Light musical entertainment and refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon Tickets for both concerts can be bought from Taylor’s Florist or via Eventbrite. Thursday 28th November to  Sunday 1st December Christmas Tree Festival

The Festival kicks off with the Grand Opening on Thursday 28th November at 7.30pm while the following night (Friday) is Christmas Night at the Musicals. Public viewing happens on Saturday 30th November between 10am and 7pm and continues the next day between 12pm and 6pm. See the Christmas Tree Festival article for further information.
