The stretch of the River Soar running through Barrow has retained Green Flag Award status for land surrounding Leicestershire waterways for the 3rd time. The prize is the international quality mark for parks and green spaces. Well done everyone.

The Royal Horticultural Society judges seemed impressed when the Barrow in Bloom team showed them around the village for the East Midlands in Bloom Award. As we go to print, we are still awaiting a result.
