I would like to express my appreciation, and I am sure that of most residents of Barrow, for all the hard work carried out by the Barrow Volunteers. It was with much delight and surprise that I realised the footpath leading from Cotes Road down over the railway bridge to Bridge Street had been beautifully cleared, a huge job. They tidy the garden in the St George Park, they decorate the station, they work tirelessly on our behalf throughout the village to create a nice environment for us all to enjoy.
